AI Terms I Avoid
The language of AI devotees seeps into everything. Their thinking lacks sophistication. I don't want their framing to pollute how I understand the world. Therefore I avoid language like the following:
- super intelligence
- general intelligence
- "intelligence" as a unit
- meatspace
- pacing the frontier
- p doom
- p anything
- priors
And more, I will add to this list over time.
